Prayer:
WIP Ellen (GA) is asking GOD for 15 more days of work as a sub teacher. She also needs full time employment.

Emmett~had very serious surgery last week and for complete healing after the two weeks downtime to recover.

Rose has a collapsed lung. Please pray God will seal off the leak and reabsorb the air trapped in the chest cavity. Thanks Doc

WIP Theresa (OK) Back therapy going well and is not in as much pain and regaining muscle and nerve control. PTL!

There is a call for Christians to gather at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC on May 1 to pray and seek God’s Face for Mercy for this land. If the Lord makes the way for me, I will be there. Please pray that my pickup will be completely repaired by this coming Wednesday...That’s what I would take if I go...can't leave my family without transportation...If you can go, please, by all means, do so. If you can't, make it a point to fast and pray that day. Let everyone you know about this... Lance

SURFSIDE still has openings to be filled! GOD is touching the youth and what a blessing to see! Pray for the those that have been here and those that are coming. Looking forward to an exciting season with the LORD!

FATHER GOD, we thank you that you are working in us and causing us to grow more into the likeness of YOUR SON, JESUS! What a privilege to lift up this above for healing and salvation and growth! You are so awesome and we love you so much. Help us remember the sacrifice of YOUR SON as we go through LENT. Please forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
In JESUS NAME we ask these things, Amen

The STUDY VERSES for this mailing...

THE INCARNATION
(When GOD became man).

John 1:14 "And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as the one of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth."
JESUS, GOD the SON, the second person of the Trinity, became man. HE was fully GOD and fully man. What a miracle! According the Bible, HE was sent to us by the Father. HE was conceived by the HOLY SPIRIT and born of the Virgin Mary. A manger in a stable held HIM for the world to see. But only the shepherds came. What a humble beginning...and GOD did it all for us!

Luke 2:40 "And the Child grew and became strong in spirit, filled with wisdom; and the grace of God was upon Him."
Just like any other little boy, JESUS grew up among in a family among brothers and sisters. But He did not sin. He was HOLY.

Luke 2:43 "When they had finished the days (Feast of the Passover), as the returned, the Boy Jesus lingered behind in Jerusalem."
The life He lived was much like ours. He got "lost" from his parents, doing his thing in the temple. But, HE was talking with the teachers in the temple and even though He told them He was about HIS Father's business, He followed and obeyed his earthly parents. All the while, "increasing in wisdom and stature (development, height) and in favor with GOD and man." Verse 52.

He faced trials, temptations, persecution, rejection, hurt and pain. HE felt the same emotions that we feel. He lived a perfect life. Never sinning and always obeying the FATHER. Because Adam sinned, we were cursed, but through JESUS we were brought salvation and blessings! Without JESUS coming to earth we would still be wandering in a sin-sick and cursed condition. HE brought us the way, the truth and the life. Not just for us, but for ALL who will receive HIM.

PRAYER FOCUS: The Incarnation

To think that YOU, GOD came to earth and became fully GOD and fully man in the SECOND PERSON of the Trinity is still hard for us to grasp. But we know that this is the truth and we thank you for the sinless life JESUS lived so that HE could be the spotless LAMB of GOD. Through HIS death on the cross, our sins are forgiven, but not only ours, but all of mankind. We thank you for loving us so much that YOU sent us JESUS CHRIST, the SON of GOD to earth and that HE obeyed every thing YOU asked HIM to do. May we become obedient to all YOU ask us to do, too. One of the things YOU have asked us to do is be witnesses. Please, give each of us at least one opportunity to share JESUS with someone who doesn't know HIM. HOLY SPIRIT prepare them to receive and us to give the GOOD NEWS during this Easter Season, beginning now with Lent.

In the GLORIOUS Name of JESUS, Amen

Keep the faith and guard it, as a wise alert gatekeeper!
