I have
a wonderful praise!!! In March my son in law, Steve was told that
he had to have both kidneys and his liver removed, transplant the liver and
one kidney. But he had to loose a lot of weight.
He worked on that and lost some weight,
and he returned in August for the tests to be taken again, they found that the
kidneys no longer needed to be removed, and his heart would now sustain the
surgery for the liver.
On September 10th we received a
call from the transplant team that they had a liver for him. At 2:00 AM.
Sept
11th he was taken to surgery and after 9 hours they brought him back with
a working liver, he is doing great and the liver is functioning well with No
signs of rejection!
The doctors told him that he had a
16% chance to live 3 months with out the transplant ( of course they don't
know our God) .
We felt badly that some one had to loose
their life in order for Steve to live, but the Lord reminded me that the
donor had lived the number of days that God had ordained for him before birth,
and this is the liver God chose for Steve. Thank Him for his
goodness!
